    Desert Aircraft vibes

Im not sure I agree with the compression being an issue with vibration. For example most modern 4 stroke automobile engines have 10:1-11:1 or maybe even slightly higher compression ratios and the engines are very very smooth. My motorcycle I had was 12:1 (I think) and it was pretty smooth. When...

    Header Tank pros and cons.

I like it. What sucks is I recently through away a bunch of really small glo fuel tanks. They would have worked perfectly for this application.

I have the power! ...or do I?

8711's are known to have some jitter at center on the rudder (ive seen many brands do this though), to correct this a small piece of soft side Velcro on the counter balance will offer a very small amount of resistance and the servo will not keep trying to find center in the gear lash. Other...

    SOLD! Large ProFlows with headers

I bought these used for on ground testing only. I ran them for 20 min total max. They sound great on a DA170 and transition is perfect. Simply amazing. Going with smooth pipes. $250 for cans only or $300.00 with DA170 50MM drop headers and couplers.

    Hangar 9 3.1M Sukhoi

I finished up my Sukhoi on the JR XBuss conversion. My feelings is a giant scale IMAC plane does not need a system like this but I wanted to try it out. I went with the JR redundant receiver system with 2 7 channel recievers that are operating via the XBuss system. I love the idea of less wiring...

SOLD! DA 170 New LOWER PRICE

Great running DA 170 that was used by me for my IMAC only plane. I purchased it used a few years ago so I do not know how it was broken in, but since I've owned it Stihl HP Ultra oil was used. I just sent it into DA to have new bearings installed because of age only, I wanted to make sure...

What battery charger u got and why?

yes they are. If you are going to charge anything big you are going to need a higher wattage power supply. Some chargers allow for 24-36V input for charging so 2 power supplies in series (if they are capable of doing that) can be used. I have a smaller power supply that is rated at 13.8V and 20...

What battery charger u got and why?

I have that charger also. In fact this was my first charger I bought that would charge A123's and lithium batteries. I know mine is over 4 years old and that charger still works like a champ.

What battery charger u got and why?

I use a Cellpro powerlab 6. 1K watt charger and does an excellent job. I also had an Icharger and that was a great charger but I wanted a more laptop friendly charger to document charging and battery information. So I sold that and went back to a bigger Cellpro. Im betting Bunky is using a Max...

DYNAMITE Passport Duo 400W Dual AC/DC Charger

For a pack that size I think a larger charger would be much better. It will take a while to charge 4500mah batteries. I have this charger and it is great. http://www.revolectrix.com/PL6_specs_tab.htm http://rcaircraftcomponents.com/products/cellpro-powerlab-6-ec5-combo-combo-with-mpa-xh-bare-wire/

Scale The Naked Truth of Covering a Plane

I was told from a well known builder to use polyurethane to seal the edges on Ultracote. I did on my Sukhoi and it seems to blend in very well and dried. Havent flown the plane yet but it looks like it will work very well.

Looking for 60"ish precision/3D electric airframe

I have the EF 60" Edge and really like that plane a lot. I have to believe the Extra would do the precision side even better than the Edge due to the wing design. I have had the Edge for a few years now and it is still in excellent shape. Very well built for a light electric plane.
