    One word of warning, don't sand "metallic" colored true "basecoats" before you clear. It can go horribly wrong in a hurry. If you do have to sand, mist another coat of base over it before you clear.

    I'd kill for 100 flights in a year. I just looked it up, this year I have a total of 17 between 3 airplanes.:( No wonder I've been so crabby.

    I made a tool with an aluminum tube, some foam, and some stick-it sandpaper, and sanded the inside of the sockets. Just knocking the high spots and rough edges off does a world of good.

    It worked out pretty well. I don't think it's perfect, but it's close enough for my use. I can climb and point roll and things without the plane heading off to it's left. ;)

    The Blazing Star mount I bought from Extreme Flight for the 120 came with two Delrin spacers in case you needed a little extra length. According to their site one should be 3mm and one 2mm. Mine were both the same at 2mm I believe. To make them I secured then to a piece of flat wood with the...
