    We had a guy yesterday that brought an 8 cell airplane and only 5 cell batteries, but the wierdest thing yesterday was an invasion of Japanese Beatles. Those things were everywhere in the sun, and would swarm you while you were flying. They never came into the shaded area where we have picnic...

    It was pretty miserable here today. Hot and humid with very little breeze and a ridiculous number of flying critters. I thought I was going to melt at the field (yes I'm a sissy). Out of 110 members there was a total of 5 people there, and my flying buddy Tony and I were the only two that flew.

    With any luck, and a little ambition, I should have it ready for color by the end of next weekend. I might not be able to spray it for awhile, but we'll see.

    Went to the shop this afternoon and reprimed the wings. The day I primed everything I ran out of activator for the primer and was only able to get one coat on the wings, so today I fixed that. I also did a little filling and sanding on the more obvious seems before I primed.

    I was going to take a couple helicopters to my clubs Electric Fly-In today, but the heat and humidity kept me away. So, I went the the shop and primed the wings for my scratch build project.

    We've been using it for a long time at work and it's been very handy. It's not made to do any filling, but it will fill light sanding scratches. Being self-etching, it sticks great to most anything especially metal, plus comes in several colors.
