    3W 110 XI-CS

So I am very dismayed. I can not find any info on this beast anywhere. Where oh where did you snag that photo and where can I find the data on this beautiful red head?

    Prop recomendation, Rimfire 55 ?

Ugh...that sucks. Glad it survived. {Mostly} You are very welcome. Don't feel alone on the 'lectric plane blues. If it don't make noise, I can't fly it. LOL

    Prop recomendation, Rimfire 55 ?

Have to agree with this. Any design of power plant hanging from the front of our planes will pull hard left if thrust angle is not correct. It is just a natural occurance of torque and rotation. Also, sudden and full throttle will also cause this. Typically, if thrust angle is correct a plane...

    120cc fuel consumption

Thanks Terry. I'm very glad you chimed in. Was hoping you would. So from what is being indicated, a new 124 cc using about 27-29 ounces in about 12 minutes is pretty normal?

Bull Engines BE 124 Twin Review and Testing

By the weekend ending July 10, I will be posting "my" final evaluation and report card on this engine. The rest will all come as time goes on and gallons are burned through this 124cc engine from Bull Engines. I may not be the most knowledgeable tester, but I do know what "I" look for in an r/c...

Bull Engines BE 124 Twin Review and Testing

Ah nuts! I always seem to get that distinction between "motor" and "engine" confused. "Engine" burn gas=Good! "Motor" eat electrons=bad.

Would that be your/my DA 70? I sure wish you'd get done fiddling with it and get it broken in. I'd really be oh so very happy if you'd send it back. By the way, have I mentioned I love your avatar photo? It's quite appropriate. :spongebob:

    120cc fuel consumption

Hey all...I guess I was used to seeing the small sips of fuel on my 111's. What is the average norm of fuel usage on a 120cc sized motor? I realize I can't base a good judgement call from my 157 or 170.

Bull Engines BE 124 Twin Review and Testing

Sometimes being a guinea pig is not all that fun. LOL... I do have another update since you speak of that. I got in four more flights on the 124 yesterday. She seems to be holding together very well. Here is how it has progressed with the ignition issue. And actually, I may have to recant my...

    Covering questions

Hey, that's some pretty cool stuff. Shock resistant means no vibrated loose hinges. Water resistant means tail dunkin' worries are over, and temperature resistant means when you're flying so fast that your tail feathers are on fire...it won't come loose! Oh wait, that's "fire resistant"...

Bull Engines BE 124 Twin Review and Testing

Ok, so as promised earlier.... I encountered a failed ignition module a right after the motor arrived. I only got one flight on it and the new version high voltage Rcexl ignition module took a dump. Frank promptly sent a new replacement and it arrived from China just a mere day and a half later...

Bull Engines BE 124 Twin Review and Testing

Well, here we go. I got in four pretty good flights today on the BE 124. I actually came very close to be one airframe short this evening. I tossed everything I knew how to do at that Edge. It just kept right on chugging right along. The wind was blowing pretty good so I was getting three to...

    Covering questions

I don't lift the alignment plate for the control horns. It is usually more of a task than it is worth. Also, if they are glued down really well, most times you will damage either the plate or the surface in which they are attached to. I lay my covering in place over the surface in an...

    Covering questions

Yes, you can leave your control surfaces attached. I have done a number of complete recovers with the surfaces still attached. It is actually a very simple procedure. Just a little patience and it will look awesome.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Problem with that is, when the big one hits....Nevada won't be ocean front property. More like anything East of Idaho, Utah and Colorado.
