    Well, after a light wetting and weights, they are still warped. They are slightly better, but I just wet them again with a little more water, then brought out more weight for the pieces as well. I will check them again tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to glue it together soon...

    @cbarnes0061 True story. Much easier to sand to shape. Sure glad I have those handy, dandy sanding blocks! I am going to stop and get more clips today. My stash of 6 tiny clips and 2 clips of bigger sizes isn't going to cover it!!

    The bottom main stringers have a 5 degree bend somewhat close to the front. I am using about a 20 degree overlap for extensions, so for the 5 degree bend in the stringer, I just cut the front piece 5 degrees closer to 90 to get the angle needed. I found out that I need to do a bit of sanding...

    I am currently on a work trip but was able to order the wing and stab tubes along with the landing gear and a couple other odds and ends needed. This is the weekend the build should start! Sorry for the delays... more to myself than to all of you:)

    Well, there are plans out there by Pete Marshall that are 50cc. @rcpilot82 makes the short kits for them. He also has the plans. I decided on an edge 540. Should be an awesome plane!

    81 deg this morning with light winds. Maidened my electric convert Top Flite P-47!!!! 2 beautiful flights and couldn't be happier after starting it 9 months ago:)

    I run my electrics the same way. I thought about going electric in the 50cc size... But I really, really want the flight time without needing to switch the batts.
