Got some sick video, but at the cost of my elevator. It’s repairable. I’m pretty excited about this aerial footage. Had a couple landings with zero ground speed with the wind blowing about 0-12+mph.
If I recall correctly, had to crab the plane on short final with losses and gains which led to full up elevator, left wing down, and ended up clipping the water/sand with the counterbalance.

Ok are you going to show us the video the suspense is killing.

patience my friend! Takes time! I’ve probably reduced the footage down to 10min.... but with slow motion it’s back up to about 14min ha ha ha I had way too much fun with the wind and the puddle. I’ve been wanting to try some different features with my video editing and I have a lot of good video to work with so that will be fun.
I’m almost done cutting video material out. Then I’ll have to transition and tweak it. Add some words here and there... ooofff really makes a guy appreciate a good video.
Probably still going to make a 30-45sec teaser video for fun with some epic cinematic beats.

Mine finally arrived after a week on a boat from Manila. In perfect shape, no wrinkles or sags in the covering, and so far no questionable glue joints. Typical Hangar 9 quality, the only think I was not impressed with were the aluminum gear and the wheels, but I think I'll use them anyway and see what gives... literally. laid out for a review of the parts, and My GF thought the box looked like a coffin, maybe if you are 4'8". I have no other parts yet so I won't be doing a build chronicle, but I may have some questions about radio install since it's been a while. Parts are coming from Australia, US, and china, so it will be a while.
