78'' Extra

ive been eyeballing a 78 extra

It's an awesome plane and i absolutely love mine. It SUCKS not being able to fly it. I'm think i'm going to cancel my order for the Beast 60e and order a engine for this plane. I'm just going back and forth on what to get, i just want to fly.

I've also been thinking that i should just sell the 78 and servos then buy a 91 Extra. Maybe i'd have less issues with that size.

Then again i could just be patient and wait for my OS to come back and run it till it dies.

Or sell everything and get a 104'' Extra!!!(hahaha i wish)

the 91 would be awesome

So far GHoffman loves his 91 and Enterprise is liking the 104. I know I'm going to love their hand me down 78. When done the three of us will have 60-104 all covered. That will make a nice line up at the fun flys!

Well just finished a late nighter. I think I may actually start this thing tomorrow. Have some ethanol free gas that's been cussing at me for weeks every time I bring out the electrics! He'll, I may even fly it! I'll track some stats on the DLE 35. Break in on stock muffler then piping. Plan to use a 20x 6 Xoar to start.

Thanks. Didn't go today but tomorrow early with Matt (Enterprise) and G Hoffman. Car loaded up! Hoping for fuel, choke, 3-5 flips and a pop, choke off and 1-2 varoom! Will video it for thread. Have rec settings on carb.

Probly gpoing to take more like 15 flips for a pop since there won't be any fuel in the lines and the engine is dry. Mine took a tad of needle messing to get my first start. It was too lean to run out of the box ymmv. It has been awesome ever since though. The motor has not been off the plane since I installed it the first time.

Thanks, good news. I realize I'm being optimistic. Half kidding with my post.
