Well I’ve just about finished the boxes… I’m not confident enough that it’ll make it there within my timing. Lots of phone calls but kind of hitting a wall. Might have to do just buy something there in the end after all…

Still working diligently at the draws. Speed is improving. This going to be one big plane but also sleek and fast. I would say a big pattern plane, hopefully it flys true, smooth and fast.
Started ordering parts for the plane will be ordering a pile of balsa and special aircraft plywood.

Making the 67" Skywing ARS 300 mine. I like the Emerald green thats on the bottom but it just doesn't go with the lime green everywhere else on the plane so I removed it and went back with pink. Then added the ARS 300 logo. After that I got to thinking it still needed a little more pink so I removed some of the lime green to go back with pink. There are a couple of pieces on the fuse and stab I plan to do the same thing to as well. I realize pink isn't everyones cup of tea but I dig it.

Drawings are all done and the cut sheers are made so that it can be sent to a Lazer cutter.
Also just received two propellers for the Kolm 30-14 and some special oil for the engine. Starting to collect stuff.
Almost all the wood is prepared for the cutters. Also managed to find some 1/8 aircraft plywood that is 6ply. Will be gluing several layers together to make the firewall and other parts as required.

I did not. Rain chances on Friday were over 50%.

Yeah I saw that on the book of faces the other day. I might add the same pink stripe to the bottom of my horizontal as well.

The weather around me has been so bad that I am getting the urge to build my new project for the kolm150.
Need a lot of sheeting glued together for the wings. I just may start that and have it ready for this winter.
Drawing shows some though of how the engine might fit into the plane.

Added 3lbs of lead to the firewall of my Bates wildcat. Now I just need to test run the engine and find the courage to fly it. Lol
