Got the news a few days ago that Dancing Wings Models will be releasing a scaled up 30cc version of their already popular 1 meter electric ARF Savage Bobber. DW has been stepping up their game recently by offing larger size ARFs including a nifty 30cc Tiger Moth. Not really known for quality ARFs but smaller balsa...

Our first flight with the new Eachine F-16 on a 3S1800 pack. Good turn of speed and flies fast OK although slow flight characteristics would be so much better with an all moving tailplane. Remaining capacity on this flight allowed us to up the second flight to nearly 4.5 minutes. Decent for an EDF powered jet....

The question is how long can the wires be from the battery to the ESC, and how long can the wires be from the ESC to the motor. What are the consequences if making wires to long or longer and by how much. I do know the longer the wires are from the battery to the ESC has an impact on the life of the capacitors in...

So clever. Combines the ease of flying a drone with the efficiency of flight. Vertical take off and landing with one button used to transition to regular flight and back to hover again. No moving control surfaces. Roll and yaw achieved through differential thrust. Integrated FPV with real time view streamed to the...

Lou gives me some insight into the immense effort and skill that has gone into building this super scale replica of the Fieseler Storch. Some details I had not even spotted ! All other replicas don't get as close to the real thing as this model. Amazing detail.
