As it would have it :face-palm:........Out flying again and engine was too lean on the top end. Went dead stick throttling up in to a strong head wind for a climb out (doing touch and go's) and plane came to an abrupt halt like it had brakes! It was only 4 or 5 feet off the ground. I applied...

Need some advice on a new 30cc 3D plane.

I put a wore out DL50 on my 78" Pilot Extra 330sc. Had to put weight (batts and lead) under the turtle deck to get it to balance. Ended up breaking the fuse in half in the air from a hard snap. Sport Bud Nosen (!!!) 1/4 Scale Citabria Build! Woo hoo!

I have heard some not so good things about A and A. There was a smaller Citabria that was supposed to be laser cut but it looked die cut on many parts and those parts also where cut in the negative (reverse die) so they were useless. Luckily it was an X-friends and not mine :ooh?:. But your...

    Cool New Project

The "itch" finally grew some legs and crawled off my back several years ago. But I do have a couple of "joy" rides in a Super Decathlon and logged 20 hours in a Turbo Mentor when I was active duty. Now I just log most hours in the shop staring at my dog lol. Well......working on a Cub too.

Try RTL fasteners .... www.rtlfasteners.com I have used them for years and they always had what I needed. They have an M6x50mm nylon slotted. The hex head socket cap comes in 1/4"- 20 x 2" or SAE sizes.

HK has some CF profile gear. This one shown is for 60 size. I think they have a 120 size too which should work if that's what you want to do.

Pretty much done with the interior. Was nice getting out in the weather today. Love it when you can take the shop outdoors. Did range test's and tweaked the tune. Going to fly it tomorrow :).
