    Here are some detail pictures from my aileron servo mount. The black flat heads are 6/32’s with blind nuts on the box. The wood screws are mainly to keep the plate from flexing under high loads.

    They are Carbon fiber. I got them on FG but J Tec makes them. Jerry Hailey and Kevin Young helped me with the servo bay doors.

    Well I got some more work over the weekend. worked on the stabs servo installation. Turned out just as I planed, Lucky I guess. I have a one inch arm and I'm able to get over 20 degrees on throw, which is plenty for IMAC flying.

    JK, Here is what I've been using for Prep work. That red sponge you see is from one of those erase all cleaning white pads, I pulled off the pad. I use a small amount of shoe goop for the 400 grit sand paper to stick to it. Works great for the final sanding.
