Nice! What tire is that?
If you don’t use ball links, to make the Wire not dig into the plastic be sure to sleeve it with some brass tubing or something. It requires more torque to move it than the little tiny wheel.
3DP is a learning process, most of us don’t have expensive printers and just live with the imperfections. Understanding slicer settings is no easy feat.

Actually, not sure what tire it is. Its one I found "in the box" that seems to fit relatively ok.

Will use ball links, good idea -make sense due to the extra torque...

Yes, the 3D printing is not as straight forward as one may think. Thankfully I have others that will take the technique to perfection..

First 3 flights in! Awesome machine. Very happy with my choice of motors. Equal power to stock, with more if needed with prop change. Cool running, 70 amps max. Long flight times. I’m guess 7-9 minutes.

Snoop..haven't weighed it. Today was a day of firsts! First model with span greater than to70" or heavier than 8 pounds. First 12s setup (8s max prior). So much fun! Hard to get a final number on flight time, but with touch and go's I was over 10 minutes. I use capacity alarms instead of time.

Only a couple clicks of elevator trim needed. Zero aileron or rudder! Manual was very close to amount of elevator compensation needed. My only gripe is the stock gear. I made a few plunker landings, but nothing I would call 'bad' and they are already bent. I have the sprung xcub gear -- so it is going it. I may try to see if I can make the stock tires fit on them temporarily. I'll probably go with either 6" Dubro or 6" Airtops...still need to figure out what is going to fit on the xcub axles.

Max amps was 73 today. Motor and batts stayed nothing more than warm, and it is 100 degrees here today. Very windy today, so the first flight was sporty -- but then I turned my gyro on and it does it's magic! Very room in the cabin...these are Zippy 6s 6200 Mah.

Nicely done! Where did you get the adhesive back wire clips? I've been using some little stick on tabs with zip ties for years now, those look like a better option.

How Fun! This was my first 50cc, and first plane over 90"... first plane to be over 20lbs!!
Capacity Alarms are a great resource for electrics.

For reducing the 5/32" axle size to 1/4" if you don't have access to a lathe - you can see what I did on page 2&3 Posts 12,18,29 by getting a bushing from the hardware store and hysol a long 1/4" bolt to them cut to size, then inserting them like you would the original axles but with collars and grub screws.
I would recommend shortening the truss arms a bit like @FlyingClint did on post #609 (page 61), and adding 6-32 bolts where the gear attaches to the fuselage brackets post #443, page 45 as the gear legs already fist them as is - just need to ream out the brackets.
