I doubt they'll make a V2 that would be against some horizon hobby virtue :roflmao:
It sound's like QC is improving based on what I've been hearing. I think it's still important to beef up the cabin area that keeps the wings on with some tri-stock and replacing the blind nuts/contraptions with a better quality T-Nuts along with some tristock holding that strut mount in place. It's a wonderful flying airframe. Post your build here and welcome to the forum!!
I ordered one today. I have servos. I have a DLE 55 I'm not using so that is one option. I have two DA 50s I am using. Maybe another one of them - or a DA 70 twin. I read about the tow release option so I will need some power to tow my buddies soon to be completed sailplane. I started with UMX Timber for winter flying in a gym. Got the 1.5 meter Timber so we'd have something to chase with drones. That's been fun. This looks like the next step.

Seems only logical!

I’ve been a little slow repairing my wingtip. But it’s done. No it’s not pretty... but it’ll work pretty good. I’m too cheap to source matching paint.
Sanded down the wingtip to expose the fiberglass. It was a pretty clean break which tells me that the wingtip was made in halves. It cracked else where too. Using some glass tape, and west system epoxy, sanded, white primer so the bright yellow ultracote turns out looking decent, true red ultracote, followed by some silver trim, and of course the wing tip/root balsa rib was repaired by removing the busted stuff and adding new material.

Well not for me, no fixing these. Not much luck this year... EF 60cc Yak and a 3dHS 91 inch Edge on the third flight.

Haven't crashed in years, I guess the gods wanted me to make up!!
