Scale BUSA Super Cub

My mentor started judging me yesterday, all three flights were about an 88 score but I think he being too kind. Even flying the elementary maneuver's that the Champ can perform have a lot of things that can go wrong. This was compounded by the 9 MPH crosswind,
Do you judge both the flights and static?

Quick update on the Super Cub. When the first areas of red were painted, it was over the silver Poly Spray, the final set went over the Datytona white painted areas. The color match was off quite a bit so I need to repaint those areas, ordered a new set of PIPER logo masks.
Thinking ahead about the batteries and switch location I pulled the trigger Brooma AR Reg Switch. I got the FOB option so there's no need to access the plane to turn it off and on. This particular switch has a built in regulator set at 6 volts since there are Hitec 7955 servos in the plane. It's rated 20 amp burst and 10 amp continuous.

I attended both static and flight seminars put on by NASA, so I'm available to judge both. I haven't been asked to do so, yet.

The remote switch arrived a few days ago. Looks nice, haven't powered it yet. Might try it out in the Champ! It is fail safe in that you need to push the A button then the B within 2 seconds to turn is on. C and D buttons turn it off in the same manner.

Finally got around to painting the areas that the color was off yesterday. I need to put some white on top of the red before the paint work is complete. I plan to paint inside the cockpit black as shown on the photos below, more masking. Can't wait to get this thing put back together as I have parts scattered all over my shop. The Champ needs a rest as well, it takes about 10 minutes to fly my scale routine, I probably average four flights an outing so I'm sure the valves are due an adjustment.

Put the black on the dash area and former. I think I will let the paint cure on the boot cowl another day before masking

for the white strips.
