I'm using a Dualsky GA6000.8 on 12S-6000mah. Prop on the maiden was a 24x12 electric wood which has subsequently been updated to a 24x13 Falcon electric carbon. Fully loaded, I'm somewhere between 20.5#-20.75#. Got lucky with a warm weekend in the middle of winter then. Got out yesterday as well with temps in the upper 40's(f). My new pilot figure stayed secure in the cockpit.

Having a number of electric planes, I've learned to manage the throttle to extend flight time. I also use mah consumption telemetry to manage my flight duration. I'm getting an average around 6.5 minutes flights with a mix of low n slow and XA.

The pilot figure is from Aircraft International, a light 1.5oz foam guy. Give them a call and they can help match a pilot to your scheme. I used size C (boosted .25" with a piece of balse) but could have fit size D.

A setup suggestion: setup your rudder throw to be parallel to the elevator bevel or just slightly more throw. It's a big rudder and if you max out travel, the plane gets a little squirrely. I received this tip from SupaTim.

Is this in reference to just the ARS or the Edge, or all? I really haven't had enough flights to even fine tune my ARS yet. I don't have the Edge.

Sorry AK - that tip was meant for SnowDog on the Edge. I've also found that to hold true on my 120cc SW ARS - needs less rudder than full throw.

@Suds I see what you mean about the rudder throw...the size of the rudder on the 91" Edge is ridiculous.
I finished the elevators and started working on the landing gear and rudder.

Question: pull-pull or push-pull?
I've always done pull-pull rudder but I'm leaning towards push-pull on this one because I'd like to try it.
What are the pros and cons of each approach?
Weight is typically the issue I've heard...concern about a servo in the tail and balancing the plane...is that accurate?
Let me know your experience.

I've been the same way as you. However, with the GP76 up front, it's probably a good idea to stick that servo in the tail for CG. That's what I did with my ARS, could be different with this one?

Great build progress SnowDog!
Put z rudder in the tail push pull. My electric setup is usually more tail heavy than gassers and my rudder servo is in the tail. And a little snippit from last evening's flight before the club meeting started.

I've decided to do the same...put the rudder servo in the tail, using push-pull.
You make a good point about the tail rudder servo being a good counter balance to the GP-76 up front.
