The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

No place really to start other than just jump right in. Poor little Baby Yak-ster driver lost his head. Yeah, don't know how this happened...maybe the BE 62 was too much power or maybe the new DLE61 is total beast. All I know is "mister" man lost his head. Heck, not to worry. New Pilot head...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Well, for what it is worth.... I still hate it. A person would think I would be used to it. Built more than one pc over the years during my tour of duty with HP. But at least back then, an OS was strong and robust and didn't have to be updated weekly. For Windows 10, I can do without some of the...

Omg... does it ever end? I was all jacked up, primed and ready to fire some update photos at you all. Oh nooo! Not happening... remember that new laptop I just purchased? Yeah.. you'd think they would give it everything it needs when it's built right? Not so much apparently . Oh yeah... cuz...

I do full power knife-edge snaps all the time with my pilot Edge. You should be able to do the same. LOL

Umm, I gotz news for you. With a 50cc up front of a 12 pound plane, you won't be "flying" it. You will simply be "guiding" the path of the renegade runaway DA. LOL:lol2:

Discussion The I’m going out flying thread 2018

See, that is exactly what I am looking for. I had Mirage custom build my extended height 6x12. But as I had said, discovered it was just too small. I really want an extended height 7x14 single axle. Then I can build my own cabinets like I did in my 6x12. And I can add my custom second level...

Once you own a four cylinder, you will wonder how you ever got along without one. Alas, the cost of purchasing one and then all the work to get them to cool correctly takes away some of the sweetness. But it is quickly revived once you fire that bad boy up.

That has been my problem. I really kick myself for selling my new trailer a couple of years back. At least it was better than nothing. Ugh. I am just going to break down and bite the bullet and do it. Hopefully soon.

Yes lil Mister Pop Top loves to go flying too. Actually he just goes so he can play outside. Lol. I did have a trailer but soon discovered it was too small. I've been holding our for a larger used trailer. But now I'm thinking I'm just going to have another custom built like my first one. I hate...

Well, it's try g really hard to rain. But I did get one flight in so far. Going to stick it out in hopes of a couple more. But if all I get is the one flight, I'll be happy. It was worth it to see how the "Dub" 170 performs since the updates. I had to reprogram the idle as it gained about 400...

This is how I transport my birds until I get my new trailer. A serious threat of rain today. But I'm going to give it a try anyway. Guess who's going flying?

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Thanks bro. Been tough for sure. I have really been quite dis-enchanted with the rc hobby lately. I think a combination of my two computers taking a dump on me, all the hours I have been working and not getting any "air" time in, had me to an all time low. But the doctor ordered up a remedy. A...

I took today off work so I could rest and recuperate. I really needed it. I also needed to get some flying in. What better plane to take out but the Baby Yak with the newly installed DLE 61. I am really liking this plane. Mostly because it is so forgiving, and it is so "factual". I say...

Nice plane. But then I would not have expected less. Actually been looking at that plane for a while. But heck...too many now. I really have not time for a new build. LOL. Looks nice Tanner. Keep up the good work.

Unfortunately I have not been able to retrieve any Velox build photos from the crappy dying hunk of :steamer: laptop, but I will keep trying. I would like to get that thread updated soon too. Hopefully I can get them pulled off. The Velox is coming along nicely... And will update that thread soon.

Um, lets see....what else have I been up to lately? Oh yeah... I cheated fellas....I cheated bad. The covering scheme for the 330 was going to be an undertaking in its own right. With my 70 hour a week work schedule, I just did not have the steam to cut all those angles and lines. So know what I...
