Finished final sanding, started with 220, 320, and finished with 400. A light coat of hair spray was applied after each successive sanding.View attachment 119745View attachment 119746
Yes I am putting in a Roto 85 FS in the plane. Can't speak to the discrepancies but the plans are a good starting point and use the plans as reference for your build. To be honest I would not have attempted this build without these plans. You're obviously going for a very light build. Any idea what it will weigh? And am I correct that you're putting an 85cc in it?
I've discovered a number of discrepancies in the WH plans. Mainly with the fuselage cross section. Especially at the tail but a bit through the entire length of the fuse. Not horribly so unless you're anal about the plane like I am.
The airfoil WH used isn't correct either though it is close. The real one has a bit of undercamber to it at the TE.
At the risk of sounding like a dope, may I ask what the purpose of spraying it down with hair spray would be?

Weight? I hope it as light as possible, will let you know in a month or so, if it flies as good as my 25% RC Guys plane I will be happy.
