    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

Sounds great Joe. I'm a bit of an extra300 fan as well. Haven't owned the 48" but love the 60" 70" and 91" every bit as much as the other. I've got quite a few flights on the 64" MXS now and I must say that I love the 60" extra just that little bit more, I think because it slows down and...

    64" mxs exp

Cody, I tried the 15x8 as well on the Torque motor but found only a slight reduction in current usage and felt a lot less responsive in the air compared to the 16x8. Guess its what I'm used to as I run 16x8 in my edge and extra as well.

    64" mxs exp

certainly noticeable gary. On 16x8 I get about 8500rpm on the torque peak and around 8000 on the 480kv. Certainly feel it on punch out and anything full throttle like pop tops and so forth. And I had the throttle end point dialed back to get that 8500rpm on the torque. She was well over...

    64" mxs exp

Thanks Guys, I;ve got 6 flights on mine with the 4315-480 and no issues at all and seems like plenty of punch. Not as much as the torque v2 but also not as thirsty on electrons either.

    64" mxs exp

Well a swapped out the Torque v2 motor for the motrolfly dm4315-480 on my yellow MXS and still flys very nice. Was finding the torque motor, although a hell of a power house was also a battery eater. On 16x8 Xoar prop, only getting 5 minutes out of 6s3300 packs. The motrolfly has a bit less...

    Extreme Flight 70" extra

That's some nice 3DRCForum vinyl there guys. Gary, didn't know you had that gold coloured site vinyl setup like that. I bet that would look sweet on the ailerons of the 91" extra!

    91" Extra 300-EXP ARF

Got me another 4 tanks through the 91" today, what a blast. Took the sfg's off for a couple of flights and she is one sweet bird drawing lines. Snaps are ultra crisp with them off as well.

Extreme Flight 88" Edge -- now with EXP sized horizontal stabs

Gotta give that left stick a bit more of a pounding Gary. DA60-RE2 loves to rev, its like a sports car.

Extreme Flight 88" Edge -- now with EXP sized horizontal stabs

Well I'm here.... what's the QT??? I'm hinging mine in blue/yellow colours at present, been raining so much I haven't been able to fly. Not sure about electric no more since flying my 91" extra on DA60+ RE2 pipe. Thinking I might hang out for the DA70 and put that in this edge...

Sweet. But haven't there been issues with the eme60 burning up front bearings or something?

Did DA check it was the EXP version if your getting the red/white/blue version? I presume you are gonna get a nice little USA flag to stick on the cowl and all that!!

cheaky bugger..... they still got plenty of airframes up there. Ive still got the 88 edge to build, but seriously thinking another da60 or da70 for it instead of electric!!

    91" Extra 300-EXP ARF

The plug is only for transporting, to try and minimize fuel smell in the car! I, of course, remove the plug for flying!!! Lol....

    91" Extra 300-EXP ARF

Josh, here's a couple of pics I took this morning showing the vent line set up. The fuel spray wasn't a real large amount, just surprised compared to electric setups.

    Extreme Flight 70" extra

Strong, but doen't like side forces on landing. My first set snapped on second landing!!!!

    91" Extra 300-EXP ARF

Maidened the 91" baby today. What a charmer. Flys basically like the big brother to the 60" extra just as I thought. Super smooth in the air, rollers, rolling loops and circles a treat. I thought I'd be tail heavy with my setup, but in the air she is still a little heavy towards the nose...

    Extreme Flight 70" extra

Its an EF bro, all std fair to be honest. I banged the little 64" MXS together in two nights with ought to much trouble. Hardest part about the 70" is the duel elevator alignment. Sweet your doing the write up but!

Go the extra's Gary. Absolutely love the 60" extra and soon the 91" I'm sure. Edge is super great down low, almost impossible to induce wing rock, but it don't draw lines as nice as the extra does them. The 60" extra, is so amazingly stable in a glide to land, I can cut my throttle at 30...

    Extreme Flight 70" extra

Wait till you see mine on the long weekend bro, might get some ideas to run with. I've been very impressed with the castle becPro for servo power. No glitch after hundreds of flights.
